HOW TO DATE AN ENTREPRENEUR

Last week, I went to an eatery and as I was chilling with my guy, I overheard the conversation of two young fellas:

Babe: I don’t understand you at all, you say you care for me, but all you do is LOCK yourself in your room, and stay focused on your computer.

Guy: But is not like I am playing video game or watching porn there naaa, I’m working?

Lady: What work? I’d travel all the way from Ibadan to Lagos, and you won’t have time for me. I have guys that are begging me upandan, but it is you I want to give a try, yet you will be making me feel like I am not important.

Guy: It’s not like that, I…

Lady: How many times do you call me in a day? Answer me… How many times do you even send me card? It’s like you don’t even know my worth self.

Guy: Stop being over dramatic, we are in a public place

By this time, I just bent my head down as though I was concentrating solely on the turkey on my table

Guy: Try to act mature at times.

Babe: M-A-T-U-R-E? How old am I? Because of my big stature, you think am Old? I am still young? And even if I am not mature, are you not suppose to make me mature?

At this point, I just left with my guy, and I knew for sure that I needed to do an article on the aforementioned subject matter.

Dating is a beautiful thing, and when you are with the right partner, wow, it remains one of the most soul lifting feelings on earth. However, there are rules and principles that guide each dating process and when not rightly applied, it could make a partners life miserable.

One thing every person should know is that there is a huge difference in dating a STUDENT/ SALARY EARNER and an ENTREPRENEUR.

Here are a few differences btw a Salary Earner & an Entrepreneur

a.      A Salary Earner is attracted and sustained by BEAUTY/ HANDSOMENESS. An Entrepreneur Appreciates Beauty, but is ATTRACTED and SUSTAINED by BRILLIANCE and WISDOM.  An Entrepreneur is not so concerned with Height, Shape, Skin Colour, or Facial Beauty, what drives an Entrepreneur is what is INSIDE the persons HEAD. Can this person THINK LOGICALLY? CAN THIS PERSON REASON RATIONALLY? This is what an Entrepreneur looks out for in a partner.

b.       While A Salary Earner is contented with SEX, LOVE & FOOD, and Entrepreneur is more appreciative of VALUE. Yes it’s a relationship, but due to the program of an Entrepreneur, a relationship should give something MONEY cannot necessarily buy. An Entrepreneur is always attracted to a partner that can GIVE GOOD COUNSEL, GIVE MORAL SUPPORT, and effectively manage the little HE/SHE has.  

 

c.       A SALARY EARNER Keeps WORKS STUFF Confidential, and doesn’t mind the partner being Ignorant about it. An ENTREPRENUER is take WORK everywhere; so they appreciate when their partner is keen and interested in their jobs.  Actually, it pays when the partner is interested because they can collectively build the business better.

d.      A SALARY EARNER anticipates Holidays, Christmas, Easter, New Year, Valentine e.t.c An Entrepreneur sometimes see these days as WORK DAYS… Opportunity to make MORE money in the Holiday. So while a Salary Earner can afford to take the Partner out, and Entrepreneur may not do the Outing on that Holiday; they can just randomly wake up one weekend and choose to go on vacation.

 

e.      A Salary Earner can spend so much time physically with the Partner but an Entrepreneur will always want to account for the TIME benefit. For an Entrepreneur, every minute is an Investment. So, a Salary Earner can spend 15 mins on a call with the Partner, but an Entrepreneur may just call to check up on the partner and do the rest online or stuff.

As a Guy or Babe, it is important to know these things, so you know how to handle or deal with your partner. Trying to make an Entrepreneur Treat you the Way a Salary Earner treats the partner will only make your relationship more complex.
