Creative Ways Christian Couples can Spend Valentine

Maybe till Jesus comes, the DEBATE about  Christians Celebrating or Not Celebrating Valentine’s Day will continue; but this time, we want to focus on… Simple ways a Christian Can Celebrate Valentine’s Day. 

      1. BUY YOUR PARTNER A UNIQUE GIFT: Well, I know many of us already have the mindset of buying Gifts; however, make a switch this time.

Don’t go for expensive shoes or wristwatches, Dinner gown, Suit, Boxers, Necklace or any of those Material things. Think of something more long term.

You can buy them a well Packaged Bible & Customize it with their name on it!

A Book about a weakness you know they are Battling!

You can record a Prayer for them and send as a Voice Note!

You can Do a Video of your times together and Prophesy into his/her Future

You can both Choose to Fast that they and both Cook something Delicious by 6pm

Basically, do something unconventional that wouldn’t be forgotten in a hurry!

      2. REACH OUT (FORGIVE): If Valentine is about LOVE, then we can agree that there can’t be LOVE without FORGIVENESS! Take this season out to FORGIVE & REACH OUT to people that must have hurt you in the past. Start by Praying! Then Load your Phone, then start calling! No need to necessarily start explaining Offense, just call talk about what you feel, and explain that you are sorry (whether the offender accepts the blame or not, just apologize). Forgive and heal your heart! Honestly, you will feel FREE from henceforth. That person that you have been TOO BUSY to call or text or Visit; if you can, please take this season to DO IT! Let LOVE & LOVE of GOD alone guild your actions. 

3. INTERCEDE: One reason why God could Bless Abraham was because he saw the heart of Abraham and knew that this man wasn’t just a selfish person thinking off himself only! Abraham Interceded for his Nephew. You can drop up a prayer plan for everyone the Holy Spirit brings to your mind. Then you begin intense prayer for them. Everyone you complain about! Everyone you wish was doing better! Everyone you hope get to know Jesus Christ… Oya, its time to CHANGE the story for the Inner Room. Praying is an act of Worship to God. What better way to show Love to someone than worshiping God don their Behalf?

 

      4. SURPRISE SOMEONE IN NEED: I always believe that Christianity isn’t a religion; it’s a way of life. The Idea of Sharing rice to the poor neighbors around you only in December is good, but we can do better . Go into your wardrobe, there are clothes you didn’t wear throughout 2018; it’s time to give it out! Give out that wristwatch, that shoe, that Palm sandals. There is someone that has been asking you for something for almost since months now… can you make an attempt to HELP? Can you make an effort to RECOMMEND someone for a Job? Just consider this day as an opportunity to SOW a SEEED of LOVE into the Life of Someone Else. You are NOT doing it because you have More than enough ooo! You are doing it because the GOD of LOVE lives inside you!
