Of late, Marvel Studios have kinda dominated the movie industries with many fictional stories, Avengers, Black Panther e.t.c; although they are quite entertaining & sometimes hilarious, one may have to dig deep down to find the LESSONS in such movies.

1. HUGH JACKMAN: Usually when you hear the name, the Claws, anger and everything Wolverine will pop into mind; well, in this movie, we saw that there are other sides to him. In this movie,

#Stories Tales of a Luverboy Prt 5 (+18)
Peter: Hello, good afternoon & Happy Sunday.
This is unbelievable!!! When I decided to take the wine
before calling Cynthia, I needed to be tipsy so I can tell her how annoyed I
felt with her. I had made up my mind to tell her my mind, afterwhich I’d just
delete her number… instant. But then, this was way more than I expected. She
sounded friendly, engaging and witty, just like when I first saw her at the
Wedding.
Cynthia: Hello Peter, how are you doing?
Peter: Feeling
surprised Just got better as I heard your voice. Didn’t know you remember
my name?
Cynthia: Haba! How can I forget the guy that helped me in
killing the boredom of that quack mc at Chizoba’s (The Bride) wedding? (Chuckles)
Peter: Laughing I
had warned Obinna (The Groom) not to use the guy o! That his Igbotic accent is
stronger than GP Tank, but Obi will not listen, he said the guy was a
professional from the east recommended by his wife’s parents.
Cynthia: Damn…well, guess there wont be a next time to get a
professional Lagos Based MC
Peter: Hopefully not o!
Cynthia: Amen to that!
Peter: So, what are you plans for the evening?
Cynthia: Well, nothing much, except for constant torment
from this daughter of eve called Sandra looking at me with her big okporlo eye
(receives a playful shove from Sandra)
Peter: ahhahhaahhhahaa… Can I be your Angel and rescue you
from her claws? Maybe we could go see a movie or hangout in KFC?
Cynthia: hmmm, Peter, I don’t really know about that, I don’t
know you that much…
Peter: The more reason we should see… don’t you think?
Cynthia: well, yes… I guess
Peter: Ok, here is the deal, just join me to watch a movie;
I’d ensure you get back to the hostel before 7pm. Pleaseeee?
Cynthia: Ok.

#EventALERT COUPLES RETREAT- LETS PLAY
Love is like a plant… Water it, it flourishes, Ignore it… Its
withers.
This is one knowledge that has led Krystal Gold – Health & Wellness Group to organize a one day
Couples retreat tagged “LET’S PLAY”

outing, such that they can renew the love they’ve always shared which in turn

family and sometimes end up losing their family in pursuit of wealth.

#RELATIONSHIP How an Asaba Girl Used Me as a Child
Check This Out, Thank Me Later!!!
#RelationshipMatters
At age 15 or so... I traveled from Lagos to Asaba just to find a girl I used to "Love" in my street. After spending all my little savings on transport and getting a gift for her, I called her and told her I was in Asaba. She couldn't believe it. After about 2hrs of waiting, she met me at an eatery. I gave her the gift (#700 perfume), then Bought her Fried Rice & Chicken (#500). Off course I couldn't afford to Buy for myself. With all these attention, I was surprised when she said... Mike, I need to go now. My aunt gave me some clothes to wash. I was about to protest when she reminded me that AM NoT HER BF and that she likes me as JUST A FRIEND. With the Money Gone! Pain Felt, Risk Taken and Everything... I knew I Had to LET GO! LET GO OF THE ONLY GIRL I EVER "LOVED". Almost 15 years after... I see young people in that same situation... Being in "LOVE" with someone who doesn't value you as much as you value them. You beg them to CALL/TEXT you! You beg them to Pick your calls! You beg them to visit you or Beg to Visit them! You beg them to Send Pics! You beg them to TALK to you about their Feelings, pains, ambitions and stuffs! Practically... You BEG them for everything!!! And the number one excuse they give is "Am BUSY"! My friend, this is 2016! Its time to CUT OFF such ties. Keep your emotions in CHECK and let Common Sense Take Over! No one is ever too BUSY for anything or anyone that brings Joy, Pleasure or Money. Love is no longer the most important ingredient for a successful relationship... Rather RESPECT, LOYALTY & COMMUNICATION. There is NO vacuum in life. Once you Let Go, there would always be someone to replace that person. Don't live your life hoping that ONE DAY this person is gonna come around. *most times, they never do*. You are Beautifully and Wonderfully made! You are an epitome of charm and Grace! Anyone who cannot see that needs to see an Optician! You are Valuable! Treat yourself in that light & watch as Kings & Queens would come knocking on your door.

RELATIONSHIP
Relationship is very broad just like
a huge tree with many branches. Relationship can help build your life when you
keep it healthy. A healthy relationship at times might be difficult and hard to
keep because it’s all about giving and taking between you and your partner.
When you look at the outcome you will be compel to give it all your efforts to
make it work out.
A person who is stingy in emotions
that wants all the loving and caring
from his/her partner without reciprocating anything in return will end up
paddling a canoe to no destination. That relationship will become weak and
tends to break up in a matter of time. In every Relationship the word SHARE is
very important in demonstration towards that relationship so that it can become
stronger and long lasting.
SOME TIPS ON HOW TO KEEP A HEALTHY
RELATIONSHIP
- * Learn to be a good listener to your
partner
- * Forgiveness is very prominent in a
relationship
- * Share at all times your period of
trials and happiness with your partner
- * Dedicate your time for your partner
- * Trust and understanding should be the
host of your relationship
- * Develop a good communication skills
with your partner
- *Try to always open up to your partner
i.e no secret should be kept
between you and your partner.
- *Never leave serious issues unattended to.

#InspireSunday: Overcoming the Monster Called FEAR
One
of the oldest and most natural feelings in man is fear. Fear can be described
as a feeling of danger from something or someone. It is an acknowledgement of a
potential harm to one's being. In our world today, fear is one thing that
prevents people from living their lives to the fullest. It prevents us from
trying.
One
battle that every successful person you know today had to fight and overcome
was the battle against fear. If you can win this battle; life would be much easier.
There
are a few ways I think we can overcome Fear.
1.
Be mindful of what you hear/read:
Man was born as a tabular raza... meaning: Empty Slate. Experiences and
information makes us who we are; therefore your level of fear is determined by
the kind of things you hear and listen to constantly.
Practical Example: Illuminati! Yes. Some
hearts beat at the mention of the name, others just think about Satan and
darkness; the fact is this, whether it is real or not. It's not my (your)
business. All we should care about is that excellence and hard work pays.
Whether you want to be a star or a successful business man or politician, when
you apply the right principles, you will definitely succeed (abi Dangote na
illuminati?). Reading about such things or watching movies about such issues
does nothing but put fear in your spirit.
2. Believe in yourself:
At
one point or the other in a man's life, one may think that he is not good
enough. After trying for a long while, we are tempted to give up because we believe
that we can't do it. The fact that a person fixes nail on the wall does not
mean he is a carpenter. Yes, you have tried and failed, but that doesn't mean
you are a failure. Actually, failing
is a stage of the success chain. If you don't fail at a stage, you may never be
successful; and if you see yourself as a failure then Success is far from your
doorstep. Our creator did not create us to fail in life. Come to think of it, your
creator knew you can succeed at a time like this that's why you are alive in
this generation. Don't you think it’s wrong for your creator to believe in you
while you don't believe yourself?
To
win the battle against fear and take charge of your life, you must believe in
yourself and keep trying.
3.
It’s a mirage:
I
guess on Facebook and some social sites, you might have come across certain
pictures that become different when you look at them from a different
perspective. That's what happens with fear also. From a perspective, you think
that that issue is insurmountable; it may look undefeatable, but always
remember, before a problem ever arises, the solution has been made. There is a
solution to that issue; all you need to do is look at it from a different
dimension. Leave the box you are in, think outside and you'd find that the
solution is right before your eyes.
Conclusively,
fear in itself is not wrong, but yielding to it would shortchange you. Be very
careful about the things you read and hear. Nowadays, I'm very cautious of the
news I take into my heart, Yes it’s good to be informed, but is better to be
less informed about good news than more informed about bad ones. Bad news sells
faster, but the fact is that it only breeds fear in the human soul. You are not
a failure, if you were; you would have 'failed' from birth.
If
you can overcome death by being alive today, why can’t you overcome that
challenge that is serving as a stumbling block in your life? When you believe
in yourself, people would believe in you. The only thing that is real in your
life is your SUCCESS. Every other thing is a mirage, fake, and an illusion. The
challenges you see are to test your desire and determination.
Fear
stops only those that want to be stopped. Arise from your fear, and be the
great man your creator made you to be.
Have
a Great Week Ahead!!!

NOT EVERY RELATIONSHIP MUST LEAD TO MARRIAGE!!!
Dating!
Marriage! & Family!
I love you;
you love me, the next thing… We are in love! Who tell you? Recently, I was
chatting with a girl who told me that she is not ready to be with any guy that
was not ready for marriage. I asked her, how old are you? She replied 18 and
immediately I shook my head in dismay.
Our world
is, moving so fast and we are gradually losing our ability to use our common
sense, especially in relationships. How can you know a guy or girl that is
ready to settle down without spending time with such a person? Haven’t you noticed
that it’s the girls who seem to be most careful in their selection that turns
out to be in a non-functioning relationship? This is because the more you think
you know about relationship the less you truly know.
Yes, I’ve
not forgotten my key topic which is the African Home, but we must begin to
correct foundational errors if we are to hope for a better home in the future.
As humans
we are created to need somebody, that’s why YOU are not alone in this world,
hence the term RELATIONSHIP. The kind of relationship we have with our family,
friends, colleagues, neighbors and even enemies determine how happy we would be
in life. That’s why at every point in time; we must review our relationships to
know which is beneficial to us or parasitic to our well being.
That said;
let’s talk about the everyday “Boy like Girl, Girl like Boy” relationship (for
now sha). There are certain things we need to straighten up if we are to enjoy
a lasting and fulfilled relationship.
YOUR DREAM GUY/GIRL IS NOT REAL:
Cinderella,
Pocahontas, Barbie, and Snow White… bla bla blah… these are all fairytales.
Don’t always expect your story to start or end up like theirs. Face the real
life and live in the present. There are certain relationships that are never
planned for, some even start with both parties antagonizing each other, only
for them to later realize that that is their means of showing affection. Learn
to appreciate people for who they are. An individual may have so many
attributes you don’t like; but sometimes, the one little thing he is good at
may just be the key to your lifetime happiness. The dream person may be perfect
in the dream, but in reality, you’d discover that his/her perfection makes you
feel imperfect in all you do. It’s good
to aim for perfection in all you do, but never forget that no one is perfect
but God.
TIME IS A NON-NEGOTIABLE VALUE:
Don’t know
the amount of relationship books you’ve read in time past, but know this for
certain… The place of TIME cannot be substituted for anything in a
relationship. The essence of relationship is to understand an individual
properly. From the outside, you may have a hunch about someone’s personality or
character, but until you get closer to such person, you may never know for
certain who that person is or can be? Never be in a hurry to conclude about a
person because as humans we can be very deceptive (especially guyz*I’m an
exception sha, ask Yvonne Nelson*). The Europeans we are trying to copy hardly
have a functioning relationship because they are too quick to love. Remember
that the quicker you fall in love, the quicker it is to also fall out of love.
NOT EVERY RELATIONSHIP MUST LEAD TO
MARRIAGE;
Yes! I’m still sane and I
aint a flirt like R.kelly… This is an erroneous notion that most sharp bad guyz.... ( to be continued next week )
