Drug addiction has in recent times, much more than ever
before, become the bane of modern society as young people are getting
hooked on codeine and other hard substances in their hundreds of
thousands and on a daily basis. Unfortunately, it only leads to
destruction of its victims.

#OPINION POLL End Time Signs or Evangelism at Work Tasha Cobbs ft Nicki Minaj “I’m getting Ready”

Waiitttt! For those who don’t know who Nicki Minaj - Onika
Tanya Maraj (born December 8, 1982), known professionally as Nicki
Minaj is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and model she is known
for her racy lyrics, seductive dressing and explicit videos.
Looking at their two obviously different lives, the world
wonders WHY such a collaboration should ever happen.
While some people support the development as a form of
reaching the unsaved, others frown at it as see Tasha Cobbs as an Embarrassment
to the Christian Faith.
Here is an Argument for and Against on a Church Youth
Whatsapp Group. Follow it closely
After all said and done... I wish we could tackle Politicians like this, especially when they come to our churches. I wish we could tackle our GO's when they dine and wine with Politicians that have wrecked this country. I wish we could tackle Pastors who receive Offerings and Tithes from Unbelievers.
Well, wetin I know, I just be one guy like that wer dey follow God jeje.

OLOWOGBOGBORO- THE REVOLUTION HAS BEGUN!!!
Few weeks ago, the internet was agog with another phenomenon…
OLOWOGBOGBORO! This is a Yoruba word that means THE OUTSTRETCHED ARM OF GOD!
On WEDNESDAY 28th of June hundreds of people
especially youths gathered at the GLITZ EVENT CENTRE LEKKI, as thousands
connected online to witness THE HALLELUYA
FESTIVAL. At about 2pm, people had begun to troupe into the hall, for an event
which was designated to kick start by 10pm.
After experiencing this historical event live and direct,
here are some life lessons that I believe are noteworthy.
1. A GOD INSPIRED IDEA DON’T NEED PERFECTION: According
to the Organizer Nathaniel Bassey, the event wasn’t preplanned, he was just
conducting his usual midnight praise, worship and prayer session; when it
dawned on him that he could actually make a LIVE Video via Instagram of the
whole worship session. From a few friends and fans following it to thousands
across the world in a space of one month, it is clear that there is a divine
backing behind the idea. As if that was not enough, the #HallelujahChallenge
drew the attention of CNN, and they had to do a report about the event.
2. THERE IS MORE TO SOCIAL MEDIA: In this
age and time when society sees only the negativity around social media- thanks
to the actions of the Nigerian Youth Populace, it is refreshing to see Social
Media bringing youths together for a good and admirable course. Nigerians who
are very cautious of their DATA/MB didn’t hold back when it comes to viewing
the sessions via Instagram. Indeed, that’s a positive. Like he (Nathaniel
Bassey) said, “If someone can shop online, why can’t they get born again
online”?
3. CRITICS COULD BE THE BEST SOURCE OF PUBLICITY: From my
findings, the publicity for the #HallelujahChallenge wasn’t as high as though a
major concert was being planned for; however, the negative reviews and comments
from certain elements in the media actually made people who were unaware more
curious about the whole OLOWOGBOGBORO frenzy. And the more these minds sought,
the more they began to appreciate the concept.
4. CONCENTERATE ON BUILDING YOURSELF: While
introducing one of the artists to minister, Nathaniel pointed out that it is
important for young talented artists to FOCUS on connecting with God rather
than seeking platforms, he said that once you are READY, you will be sought out
for. He further said that because of the effect of the #HallelujahChallenge
Pastors from various churches were offering to support the course and
contribute to its success.
5. THERE IS A REVOLUTION COMING: When I
saw young dudes and girls happily walking in to the venue of the Hallelujah
Festival, foregoing there sleep and the comforts of their beds, just to PRAISE,
WORSHIP & PRAY to God… I felt extremely excited in my soul. This is a kind
of crowd you see for a Davido or Wizkid Show; but this time, JESUS was the
centre of the gathering. Seeing Funke Akindele (Jenifa), Uche Jumbo, Rita
Dominic, Don Jazzy and a host of other Nigerian celebrities posting
consistently about the #HallelujahChallenge is a clear sign that EVERYONE NEEDS
JESUS! There is a Revolution coming that is REVEALING JESUS in the hearts and
lives of everyone, despite their Celebrity status. The Revolution such that
being a Child Of God and branding yourself a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN is going to
be a trendy thing.
Personally, I don’t think I’d trade the opportunity of
experiencing the #HallalelujahChallenge for anything else in this world.
Stay Blessed.

#MustAttendEVENT: GOSPEL ON POINT!
Check This Out, Thank Me Later!!!
This December, the Youth Fellowship of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, King Of Kings Parish, have decided to do something totally unusual. The Youth Ministry have packaged a one day life transforming event tagged GOSPEL ON POINT.
According to one of the programe coordinators, Gospel On Point a.k.a GOP is a platform for young people to come together and express themselves freely before God as Youths. Its an avenue to ask and receive answers to questions and issues that have been bothering them as youths. While Spiritual growth is essential, social and financial growth is key for the development of an individual; therefore successful business tycoons and career persons (Under 40) will be on ground to inspire these young persons towards success.
To spice up the event, would be games, music, comedy, dance and fashion display.
I also got info that Winners from RCCG SHIFT 2014 & 2015 competition will be there live for the event.
Honestly, from what I've heard about this event... its surely something worth attending.
Date: Fri, 18th Dec 2015
Time: 10pm (Vigil)
Venue: RCCG, King Of Kings Parish, Area 4, OPIC Estate, Agbara Ogun State.

#Gospel “Heaven Helps Those Who Help Themselves”
“Heaven Helps
those who helps themselves” is a common saying we are most times quick to say
when we want to play smart. On the surface, the saying may seem ok; often times,
some people even quote it as a biblical reference. The thing albeit is that… IT
IS NOT A SCRIPTURAL STATEMENT.
We are living in a fast paced world, and the world in itself is systematically infiltrating the church. Common sense is gradually taking the place of God’s wisdom in our lives, that’s why we find many children of God living life like Common men and even dying like one. This ought not to be so.
The fallacy of this statement is best described by the story of Father Abraham (Gen 16); who tried to help heaven by sleeping with Sarai’s Maid called Haggai. Sarai who was thinking like a common man even after knowing about the promise of God for her husband, thought it wise to Help God fulfill his word. How foolish her decision turned out to be in the long run. Her “Common Sense” decision begat one of the biggest rivalry in the world today (Israel & Pakistan). But for the mercies of God and the Righteousness of her husband Abraham, Sarai would have died a barren woman; not because God didn’t love her, but because she tried to help God with her common sense.
Not everyone can come out as lucky as Sarai; King Saul wasn’t able to (1st Samuel 15). In his case, he thought he could help God help his people. He believed so much in his abilities strength and wisdom that he found it almost difficult to completely trust and obey God. He was always second guessing, contemplating and using his own common sense to handle matters rather than trusting in God’s divine ability. His common sense thinking cost him and his generation the throne and kingship of Israel. How pathetic!
Today, many of us sometimes find ourselves in Sarai & Saul’s shoes; where we feel God is too slow or non functional. Sometimes we are pressured by the society to think that we are behind, to think that we are NOT doing something right. But then, we must remember that at some point in life, it is NOT always about us but about GOD. It wasn’t Zachariah’s lack of faith that didn’t make him have a child at his youth… It was God’s Design that he (Zachariah) will be the Father of John the Baptist the fore runner of our Lord Jesus Christ (What a sweet privilege!). It wasn’t any sin that Joseph committed that landed him in the Pit or in Potipher’s prison; rather it was God’s way of building his integrity, strength and Value towards his becoming a Prime Minister in a foreign land (Awesome!).
We need to learn to trust and be patient with God. He wants the best for you and me. His delighted in our success, therefore he wants us to succeed and be victorious even more than we want it for ourselves. Christianity is not a thing of common sense… because only those that are led by the spirit of God can truly be called the sons of God. Ask yourself quickly… What Spirit is leading me?
Think about this quickly, if you can help yourself, what do you need heaven for? Or is your problem/ challenge/ situation/ issue too strong for heaven that heaven would need mere mortal to proffer a solution? God is still at the business of doing Good.
PUT YOUR TRUST WHOLLY IN HEAVEN, and watch GOD TAKE YOU TO HEIGHTS BEYOND YOUR WILDEST IMAGINATION.
