Drug addiction has in recent times, much more than ever before, become the bane of modern society as young people are getting hooked on codeine and other hard substances in their hundreds of thousands and on a daily basis. Unfortunately, it only leads to destruction of its victims.

#OPINION POLL End Time Signs or Evangelism at Work Tasha Cobbs ft Nicki Minaj “I’m getting Ready”

Tasha Cobbs has been regarded as one of the best worshippers in her time; the “Break Every Chain” singer has used her songs to change lives and draw people closer to God. However, all hell was let loose when she announced that she is featuring Nicki Minaj on her song “I’m Getting Ready”. Many people thought it was an expensive joke, up until the song came out few days ago.

Waiitttt! For those who don’t know who Nicki Minaj - Onika Tanya Maraj (born December 8, 1982), known professionally as Nicki Minaj is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and model she is known for her racy lyrics, seductive dressing and explicit videos.
Looking at their two obviously different lives, the world wonders WHY such a collaboration should ever happen.
While some people support the development as a form of reaching the unsaved, others frown at it as see Tasha Cobbs as an Embarrassment to the Christian Faith.

Here is an Argument for and Against on a Church Youth Whatsapp Group. Follow it closely

After all said and done... I wish we could tackle Politicians like this, especially when they come to our churches. I wish we could tackle our GO's when they dine and wine with Politicians that have wrecked this country. I wish we could tackle Pastors who receive Offerings and Tithes from Unbelievers.

Well, wetin I know, I just be one guy like that wer dey follow God jeje.

OLOWOGBOGBORO- THE REVOLUTION HAS BEGUN!!!

Few weeks ago, the internet was agog with another phenomenon… OLOWOGBOGBORO! This is a Yoruba word that means THE OUTSTRETCHED ARM OF GOD!

On WEDNESDAY 28th of June hundreds of people especially youths gathered at the GLITZ EVENT CENTRE LEKKI, as thousands connected online to witness  THE HALLELUYA FESTIVAL. At about 2pm, people had begun to troupe into the hall, for an event which was designated to kick start by 10pm.
After experiencing this historical event live and direct, here are some life lessons that I believe are noteworthy.

1.      A GOD INSPIRED IDEA DON’T NEED PERFECTION: According to the Organizer Nathaniel Bassey, the event wasn’t preplanned, he was just conducting his usual midnight praise, worship and prayer session; when it dawned on him that he could actually make a LIVE Video via Instagram of the whole worship session. From a few friends and fans following it to thousands across the world in a space of one month, it is clear that there is a divine backing behind the idea. As if that was not enough, the #HallelujahChallenge drew the attention of CNN, and they had to do a report about the event.

2.      THERE IS MORE TO SOCIAL MEDIA: In this age and time when society sees only the negativity around social media- thanks to the actions of the Nigerian Youth Populace, it is refreshing to see Social Media bringing youths together for a good and admirable course. Nigerians who are very cautious of their DATA/MB didn’t hold back when it comes to viewing the sessions via Instagram. Indeed, that’s a positive. Like he (Nathaniel Bassey) said, “If someone can shop online, why can’t they get born again online”?

3.      CRITICS COULD BE THE BEST SOURCE OF PUBLICITY: From my findings, the publicity for the #HallelujahChallenge wasn’t as high as though a major concert was being planned for; however, the negative reviews and comments from certain elements in the media actually made people who were unaware more curious about the whole OLOWOGBOGBORO frenzy. And the more these minds sought, the more they began to appreciate the concept.

4.      CONCENTERATE ON BUILDING YOURSELF: While introducing one of the artists to minister, Nathaniel pointed out that it is important for young talented artists to FOCUS on connecting with God rather than seeking platforms, he said that once you are READY, you will be sought out for. He further said that because of the effect of the #HallelujahChallenge Pastors from various churches were offering to support the course and contribute to its success.

5.      THERE IS A REVOLUTION COMING: When I saw young dudes and girls happily walking in to the venue of the Hallelujah Festival, foregoing there sleep and the comforts of their beds, just to PRAISE, WORSHIP & PRAY to God… I felt extremely excited in my soul. This is a kind of crowd you see for a Davido or Wizkid Show; but this time, JESUS was the centre of the gathering. Seeing Funke Akindele (Jenifa), Uche Jumbo, Rita Dominic, Don Jazzy and a host of other Nigerian celebrities posting consistently about the #HallelujahChallenge is a clear sign that EVERYONE NEEDS JESUS! There is a Revolution coming that is REVEALING JESUS in the hearts and lives of everyone, despite their Celebrity status. The Revolution such that being a Child Of God and branding yourself a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN is going to be a trendy thing.

Personally, I don’t think I’d trade the opportunity of experiencing the #HallalelujahChallenge for anything else in this world.

Stay Blessed.

THE CHILDREN CALLED P-SQUARE

For a while now, the media has been filled with Rumors, Facts and Fiction about the music group known as P-Square, While e may not have the right to play Judge in the case, it is important we take a cue from this conflict and reflect on our own lives. Here are a few lessons to learn:

Check This Out, Thank Me Later!!!

1. PUT IT ON PAPER: Relationships are good, friends, colleagues, brothers… whatever, but over time, I’ve come to learn that there are two major factors that BREAK most relationships… MONEY & LOVE. No matter how good things between you and a person seem today… Learn to put major agreements on Paper. It’s a Shame to know that a Brand Like P-SQUARE still run on “As We Feel” instead on based on our contract or Agreement. Maybe they under estimated the Power of Money or Influence, but now, its raising it’s heard as an irrepressible force.

#LESSON1: Learn to think Systems, not just because of the present, but because of the useable future.

2. BEING SINGLE HAS ITS BLESSINGS: Although man is a Social Animal, we must also remember that man is Born Selfish by Nature. As an Unmarried person, there is a huge amount of Freedom a person has. Freedom to do and UnDO. Freedom to Be and BE NOT. WHY? Because the Consquence of such actions comes directly to YOU only. No other person is directly affected by your decisions…. It’s YOUR Life, so you can live it at your own terms. However, this changes the moment you Get married or become a Baby Daddy; Life doesn’t end and begin with YOU anymore. You now begin to consider other Factors. The Bitter Truth about this P-Square is that, the presence of Women and Children in their lives affected their thought patterns and Interests. What Could be Overlooked in 1999, 2009 and 2013 couldn’t afford to be overlooked anymore. Whispers, Side Comments, Facial Dissatisfactions, Murmurs and stuff gradually led to Division among the Brothers. From All Indications, it seems as though Jude is the Bone Of Contention, but I think P-Square was a Disaster waiting to Happen the Moment they Choose to Get Married.

#LESSON2: If You Are SINGLE, LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE NOW!!!

3. AGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MATURITY: Social Media has been one of the most transformational tool of the 21st Century, but then these recent Media Rants by two or Three So- Called Mature Minds is the height of Irresponsibility. Are they the Only Music Group on Earth with Challenges and Issues? Are they the Only TWINS on Earth who have done each other wrong? I am trying to wrap my head around the fact that two Educated Individuals who have travelled the World will come online to share their dirty little secrets with a World that has been praying for them to FALL/FAIL. Can’t they learn from the Past? MOhits? Who Separated and afterwards each party has been just average? SMD is just a bunch of average Talents… NONE can match with Dbanj. And D’Banj on the Other hand is just Globe Throttling and gradually fading away from musical relevance.
Someone will say… If Only their Mum was Alive! #Iffaahear!!! Is it not a SHAME that grown men like these would be waiting for Mummy to Cry and Naked herself on the ground before they resolve their issues? No one say P-SQUARE Should be together for LIFEEEEE! But there is a MATURED way to go about things. This issue is just a big Insult to the Memory of their Parents and Family Name in General.

LESSON3: Learn to be matured in Handling Issues. (Outsiders Don’t Wish You Well)

#SingItRight... WE ARE HERE (ALICIA KEYS SINGS ABOUT NIGERIA)

YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!!!

We are here
We are here for all of us
We are here for all of us
It's why we are here, why we are here
We are here

Bombs over Baghdad
Tryna get something we never heard
Let's start with a good dad
So real but it's so sad
And while we're burning this incense
We gon' pray for the innocent
Cause right now it don't make sense
Right now it don't make sense

Let's talk about chi-town
Let's talk about Gaza
Let's talk about
Let's talk about Israel
Right now it is real
Let's talk about
Let's talk Nigeria, and the mass hysteria
Our souls are brought together so that we could love each other brother
We are here
We are here for all of us
We are here for all of us
It's why we are here, why we are here
We are here

No guns made in Harlem
But yet Crime is a problem
He wanna shine, he wanna rob 'em
Single mother, where they come from?
How we gonna save the nation
With no support for education
Cause right now it don't make sense
Right now it don't make sense

Let's talk about our part
My heart touch your heart
Let's talk about
Let's talk about living
Had enough of dying
Not what we all about
Let's do more giving
Do more forgiving, yeah
Our souls are brought together so that we can love each other sister

We are here
We are here for all of us
We are here for all of us
It's why we are here, why we are here
We are here

We are here
We are here for all of us
We are here for all of us
It's why we are here, why we are here
We are here
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh

We are here
We are here for all of us
We are here for all of us
It's why we are here, why we are here
We are here
We are here
We are here for all of us
We are here for all of us
It's why we are here, why we are here
We are here
